Who we are?

We greet everyone who strives to preserve and enhance Kurdish culture and language!

We are women from different regions of Kurdistan who live abroad and desire to preserve their Kurdish culture, which has been attempted to be wiped out through various governmental powers for many years. We met as a first team in Greece and may have found each other by happenstance. Unfortunately, we all speak different dialects of Kurdish, or we speak with difficulty due to strong assimilation policies. However, we have always felt that our special bonds come from our Kurdish identity, thus we decided to launch a blog or initiative to learn and promote our language and culture in many languages while learning.

We are Kurdish women who also work and study to settle our lives in Greece and to pursue educational efforts in Kurdistan. At this point, we will focus on Kurdistan’s language, culture, history, and geography to discover the truth about how our culture was suppressed and assimilated by other civilizations, as well as to help present Kurdish culture to the rest of the world. We want to express what we find and what we feel in several languages.

We are also looking for more Kurdish people to help us reveal the hidden aspects of Kurdish culture and language. Hence, we may strengthen the bridge between the four Kurdish regions while also meeting with other crucial cultures. We aspire to humbly contribute to current cultural initiatives and efforts that are focused on protecting our culture. We believe that through these actions, Kurdistan and our culture will be free soon.
